I began my career with County Land and Title in 2016 as a production typist after graduating with honors from the Administrative Professional program at NTC. What started as a temporary role has grown into a fulfilling career, and today I serve as a Policy Supervisor supporting our Eastern and Western offices as part of the Lighthouse team in Wisconsin.

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality in every policy we issue. I take pride in my attention to detail and in guiding my team through the complexities of the title process with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, I value family, personal growth, and organization—qualities that help me maintain a balanced and focused approach to my role. I’m also a dedicated sports mom, always on the go for football, wrestling, and track and field throughout the season.

Gavin Kelly

IT Support Specialist

Hello, I’m Gavin. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology Systems from Ferris State University. Prior to joining Lighthouse, I gained valuable experience through IT internships at Kent Power and SpartanNash. During my time at Ferris, I served as a Student IT Technician, Teaching Assistant, and President of the BCP student organization. I am a strong advocate for implementing processes, procedures, and automation to drive efficiency. My background in higher education has taught me how to lead by example and make the most of the resources I was given.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, thrift shopping, reading, and, of course, playing video games.

Annika Potjer

Accounting Associate

I joined Lighthouse Title in May 2024. I graduated from Davenport University in December 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Lighthouse Title, I worked for an auction software company and a real estate management firm, where I gained valuable experience in accounting. I have always been highly organized and detail-oriented, qualities that serve me well in my daily work.
Outside of the office, I enjoy rock climbing with my siblings and friends, reading, and baking. I find joy in uplifting others through music. I love singing in my church choir and singing praise to God to residents in nursing homes. I am excited to continue growing and contributing to the success of Lighthouse Title.

Logan Gorney

Assistant Manager - Commercial

I started off my career working for Manistee Abstract & Title working a variety of Job Functions while obtaining Certificates from the Land Title Institute. Upon merger with Lighthouse Title in 2012, I was appointed Office Manager of the Manistee Branch. In 2017 I transferred to work with the Commercial Group where I am currently the Assistant Commercial Manager.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature as well as attending various sporting events & concert outings.

Jorge Tenorio

IT Support Specialist

My name is Jorge, and I’m excited to be joining the IT team alongside Chris. I live in the Appleton-Menasha area and enjoy staying active & exploring my interests in my free time. I’m a big fan of video games, cars, and the Green Bay Packers, so if you share any of those passions, feel free to reach out! I’m also a keen follower of the Ferrari Formula 1 Team.

Devin Dely

Human Resources Generalist

I was born & raised in the Detroit area but moved to West Michigan in college when I became a student at GVSU. After graduating with my journalism degree, I worked briefly as a reporter before finding my way into the field of Human Resources. I enjoy HR because it allows me to make a positive impact on both the growth of the company as well as the wellbeing of my coworkers, and I am proud to be able to meet the needs of the employees at Lighthouse Title Group.

Currently, my wife and I reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Outside of work, much of my leisure time is occupied by music and other creative hobbies. I am also an avid reader, a big fan of exploring the outdoors, and an active volunteer at my church. Any time with my family or friends is time well spent to me!

Trisha Collins

Executive Assistant

I joined the Lighthouse Title Team in July of 2024. Prior to that I worked for a title company out of Fort Myers, Florida as a processor and closer! With that I was able to gain a lot of knowledge regarding the title industry! I am so thankful for my time there as it provided me with a unique outlook for my role here at Lighthouse, which is a little bit of everything, and love it!! I get to be creative, have input on special events, plan those events, assist in marketing, coordinate travel, and whatever else is needed!!

Outside of work, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Myles for 15 years. In total, we have been together for over 20 years! You will probably find me at a softball or baseball field as both my daughter, Savannah, and Son Trent play!! Sav is going into her sophomore year of college, and Trent is going into 8th Grade! If I’m not at the field, you can find me on my patio swing, the beach, or if it’s winter, curled up on the couch in front of the fire! My dog, Mowgli is also with me wherever he is allowed, he’s a 150lb Cane Corso and I simply adore him!

I am super excited to be a part of the Lighthouse team and look forward to what the future holds!

Dave Nichols

Sr. Vice President – Southern & Western Michigan Divisions

I have a B.A. in Business/Finance from Davenport and have enjoyed 30+ years working in the title industry. I spent the first 14 years with a large national underwriter. In 2006, I founded America’s One Title Agency, Inc. In 2023, I merged America’s One into the Lighthouse family of companies. Currently, I oversee the America’s One Title brand along with several Lighthouse offices/ventures in Michigan. My wife and I have two grown children and a daughter-in-law. We love spending time with our family. We are active in our local church and love serving with Operation Christmas Child. In our spare time we enjoy boating, beaching, kayaking and hiking!

Bob Wuerfel, CLTP

President

I graduated from Hope College and have been working in the title industry since 1988. I spent the first 13 years working for larger regional title agencies, and the past 20+ years as President of Lighthouse Title Group, which has a network of 45+ Lighthouse Title and venture locations throughout Michigan and Wisconsin.

With extensive operations expertise and significant experience with several title agency mergers and joint ventures, I currently provide senior leadership to my title team and venture partners. This leadership has led Lighthouse Title to be honored by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the 500 fastest growing firms in the country.

I have also been named one of Grand Rapids Business Journal’s “Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40”. Within the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA), I have served a term as President, have been involved with several committees and have earned the Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP) designation. Additionally, I earned the MLTA’s Robert J. Jay award for dedication and service to the land title industry.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with our family. My wife and I have been married for 30+ years and have three grown children, a son-in-law and an awesome dog! We spend many summer weekends at our Chippewa Lake cottage. At church, I am on consistory, play in the bell choir and have co-chaired our building campaign. I am also an avid rail fan for both the active train lines as well as researching historical lines that no longer exist and have been a speaker for our Michigan Land Title Association on railroad properties.

Jeff Beyer

Sr. Vice President – Commercial Division

I started my title insurance career in 1987 after graduating from Hope College. Initially starting as a closer, I quickly moved into sales and marketing where I spent the better part of 20 years. That has also included management responsibilities for branch offices as well as area manager responsibilities. With an extensive knowledge of closings, underwriter guidelines and several years in the title insurance business, I currently manage the Commercial Closing Unit for Lighthouse Title Inc. As an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy fly fishing, hunting and traveling.

Morgan Sennertt

Director – Marketing & Social Media

I started with Lighthouse Title Group in 2019 in a customer service position and have since grown into the marketing manager. I have the best job, in my opinion, for each day brings new creative tasks and challenges. With so many locations and a variety of brands, I enjoy juggling all of our marketing efforts from sponsorships and volunteering all the way to billboards.

Outside of work, I have an amazing husband and two little girls. As family, we stay busy enjoying the benefits of a 4 season state and are soaking up all the memories.

I started working for Lighthouse Title Group during my last semester of college. I graduated from GVSU with a degree in Occupational Safety & Health but chose to stay with Lighthouse. It has been a pleasure growing my career alongside a company that continuously accelerates and I look forward to the years to come.

Darcy Welton

Sr. Director – Agency Settlement

With over 31 years of experience in the title industry, I began my career at the Title Office in 1993, immediately following high school. Throughout my tenure, I have been employed by various title companies, progressing from customer service roles to management positions, predominantly within the settlement department. I take great satisfaction in our settlement processes and in providing training and support to other offices.

For the past 13 years, I have been a dedicated member of Lighthouse. My personal aspirations have always included raising a family and achieving a meaningful career. Now that my children are 15, 18, and 20, I have found more time for personal pursuits and have recently taken up golf. Moving forward, I am committed to continuing my role as an ambassador for Lighthouse and contributing to its ongoing growth and success.

Jan Gaskill

SVP - Process & Compliance

I serve as the SVP of Process & Compliance of Lighthouse Title with a distinguished career in the title industry spanning over three decades. After graduating from Ferris State University’s Paralegal Program in 1989, I embarked on a journey that would see me become a pivotal figure in the field.

During my academic years, I was particularly captivated by classes on real estate law and the intricacies of drawing out legal descriptions. This passion naturally led to a seamless transition into the title industry upon graduation, a decision that has defined a career marked by dedication and expertise.

My enduring enthusiasm for tackling complex title issues has been a driving force throughout my professional life. I relish the intellectual challenge and problem-solving aspects that each case presents, consistently delivering results with precision and diligence.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply rooted in family values. Married to my college sweetheart, together we have raised four wonderful children. My family and I are actively involved in school activities, reflecting our commitment to community and education. We also share a love for traveling around Michigan, with a special fondness for Mackinac Island and the picturesque Upper Peninsula (UP).

My blend of professional acumen and personal dedication makes me an invaluable leader at Lighthouse Title and a respected figure within the title industry.

Matt Schopp

Director - Human Resources

My Christian faith fuels my heart for people and is what drew me into Human Resources. I enjoy that I can ease colleagues' worries by handling items like payroll and benefits, which I know truly impact their daily lives. Outside of the office, I am passionate about teaching my two sons the rules of football, serving alongside my wife and church family, and growing deeper relationships with our neighbors.

Sandy Veldt

Executive Vice President

I am the Executive Vice President for Lighthouse Title Group and have been a part of the Lighthouse family for the past 12 years. During my tenure, I have held various positions, including Executive Assistant, HR Manager, Director of Administration, and Vice President. The transition to Executive Vice President is a natural fit, as it leverages my skill set, allowing me to work closely with both employees and customers, which is my true passion.

I hold an HR degree from Baker University and have completed the Title 101 training with ALTA.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching the Detroit Lions, and most of all, being a grandmother to my grandchildren.

Jennifer Thomas

Financial Strategist

I’ve been with Lighthouse Title Group for 18 years. When I started, there were six locations to account for and now, we have 20 Lighthouse Title locations along with 15 affiliates to manage. It has been a great and at times, challenging journey to be on these past 18 years!

Graduated from Hope College with a bachelor’s degree in business accounting. My first job was with First Michigan Bank (FMB) as a bookkeeper in the residential loan department and after a few years, moved into corporate accounting. Then I took a break from the working world to stay at home and raise 3 wonderful kids for 10 years. Once my youngest was in kindergarten, I started back to part-time work for a small landscape business for about 4 years. My husband, Bill, and I knew Bob Wuerfel and his wife, Shayne through the church we both attended at the time. Through this relationship, Bob mentioned a new opening for an accountant for Lighthouse Title Inc. and I’ve been here since!

I love working with numbers, graphs and constantly look for ways to make our work processes more efficient so relevant information is shared with management in a timely manner.

Kevin Lounds, CLTP

My daily drive is to follow my Father’s Golden Rule— “If you don’t have time to do it right the first time, how can you expect to have time to do it over”.  July 20, 2015, was the resurrection of my passion for the title industry — my first day with Lighthouse Title. The 7 years prior to that I had a job in the title industry, starting then I resumed my CAREER in the title industry. My goal is to teach with every interaction every day externally with customers and internally with employees. My greatest reward received currently is being treated as a peer by my “title hero’s”, those who trained me and who now ask for my opinion and feedback.

Chris Boggs

Director - Information Technology

Although I haven’t been with Lighthouse long, just starting last October, it has been my best work experience so far. I enjoy the atmosphere of the offices as well as the work itself. Everybody in the company is always there to help one another whenever a problem arises. Lighthouse is really a great place to work!

Dana VanSickle

Sr. Vice President – Northern Michigan & Wisconsin Division

I bring a wealth of experience and a dynamic approach to my role as Vice President for Northern Michigan & Wisconsin at Lighthouse Title. With 29 years of experience in the title industry, I have developed a reputation for my unwavering "can do" attitude, ensuring customers receive the exceptional service Lighthouse Title is known for.

My journey to this esteemed position has been marked by dedication and a passion for excellence. Becoming Vice President has not only been a significant professional milestone but also a profound blessing, allowing me to share my extensive knowledge and foster an environment of encouragement and support within my team.

Outside of my professional life, I am an avid traveler with a profound interest in cultural exploration. I dream of visiting China to volunteer at the Giant Panda Center, a testament to my compassionate and adventurous spirit.

I embody the values of leadership, expertise, and empathy, making me an invaluable asset to Lighthouse Title and an inspiration to those around me.

Alex Wuerfel

VP - Operations & Development

I joined the Lighthouse Accounting Team in July 2020 after graduating from Central Michigan University with a B.S. Degree in Actuarial Science. With the growth of Lighthouse Title Group, the need to analyze market, operational, and financial data aligned with my degree skillset. I’ve been working with our leadership team over the last year, managing risk, analyzing market data to gain insight and drive business and operational planning. I look forward to continuing my professional development, furthering my Title knowledge, and helping sustain the growth of Lighthouse Title Group.


When I am not working, you can find me at home with my Great Pyrenees dog (Napoleon), on the golf course, or at a pool. I am a golf enthusiast and Head Coach for the West Ottawa Boys’ Water Polo program. I also enjoy downhill skiing and spending time outdoors. Above all, I am an avid fan of Detroit professional sports teams (no matter how long the rebuilds are)!

Kirk Bell

Asst. Vice President – Southern Michigan Division

I am a licensed title agent with over 20 years of experience in the real estate and title insurance industry, currently affiliated with Lighthouse Title Group. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for navigating complex title matters and supporting smooth, efficient real estate transactions through a collaborative, solution-driven approach.

I am highly active within the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA), where I proudly serve on the Board of Directors, am an active member of the Community Service Committee, and act as Board Liaison for the Technology Committee. My involvement is driven by a strong commitment to advancing the title industry through innovation, education, service, and meaningful engagement.

In addition to my work with MLTA, I remain actively involved with multiple Boards of Realtors throughout the State of Michigan, collaborating closely with real estate professionals to strengthen relationships and support the evolving needs of the market.

With more than two decades in the industry, I am passionate about serving as a trusted resource for my partners and clients, leading with integrity, experience, and a genuine commitment to the success of the real estate community.

Stephanie Kamrath-Wright

Asst. Vice President – Eastern Wisconsin Division

With over 30 years of experience in the title industry, I began my career at Assurance Title and continued through its acquisition by Lighthouse Title. My dedication and expertise have led to my current role as Assistant Vice President for Wisconsin’s Eastern Region.
I take pride in helping customers achieve their dream of homeownership and committed to supporting Lighthouse Title’s growth and success.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my husband, to Southwest Florida beaches and spending time with friends and family.

Amber VerBurg

Director - Quality Assurance

I bring extensive experience in title and escrow to my role as Director of Quality Assurance with Lighthouse Title Group. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the precision, integrity, and problem-solving that define the title insurance industry. My background includes residential and commercial escrow settlement, title examination, policy issuance, and compliance oversight — all driven by my passion for maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and service. My dedication to “all things title” reflects my belief that every transaction tells a story, and I take pride in ensuring those stories are built on a foundation of trust and excellence.

Outside of work, I recently settled into my new home and celebrated my son’s wedding — two milestones that have made this season especially meaningful. I value maintaining a healthy work-life balance and enjoy spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and indulging in my passion for gaming. Whether it’s strategic board games, immersive video games, historical simulations, or mobile games, I love the challenge, creativity, and connection they bring to my life.

Justice Timblin

Asst. Regional Manager

I began my career in the title industry in 2011 as a typist and grew through roles in construction escrows, processing, and closings, building a well-rounded understanding of the business along the way. Today, I serve as the Assistant Regional Manager for the Eastern offices of the Lighthouse Team in Wisconsin, while still actively processing and closing transactions. I truly enjoy being part of such an important milestone in people’s lives and helping ensure each closing goes as smoothly as possible.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my two sons and husband, usually running to one sport or another. I’m a homebody at heart and enjoy reading, making wine, tending to my chickens, and getting out on the golf course when I can.

Criss Tolliver

Director - Compliance

I've been part of the title insurance industry since 1993, building my career across title production, escrow settlement, project management, and compliance. In my role as Director of Compliance I help ensure Lighthouse operates in line with industry best practices. Our focus is reducing risk for the company, maintaining our excellent relationship with our underwriters, earning the trust of lenders, and protecting buyers and sellers. I enjoy helping my coworkers and finding ways to make a process more efficient.

For fun, I like to play team trivia and root for Detroit sports teams. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, both small towns and big cities. My goal is to road trip my way along Route 66, from Chicago to Santa Monica.

Crystal Boywer, CLTP

Senior Director – Agency Production

I'm Crystal Boywer, the Director of Agency Production for Lighthouse Title Group. My journey with the Lighthouse family began back in 2001 when I joined as an Examiner. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of the Admin Team, contributing to the growth of our organization, which now includes over 60 offices across Michigan and Wisconsin.

My career in the Title Industry started in 1998 when I began as a temp at an agency in Grand Rapids. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for fostering a culture of continued learning within our team at Lighthouse. Being involved with the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA) has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve served on several committees, including the Education Committee, the Title Agent and Associate Member Committee, and the Tech Committee. In 2023, I proudly earned my Certified Land Title Professional (CLTP) designation.

A little about me personally—I grew up in the Caledonia/Kentwood area and currently live in Wyoming, Michigan with my family. I also serve my community by sitting on the City of Wyoming Board of Review. When I’m not working hard at Lighthouse Title, you’ll likely find me camping, fishing, or hunting with my husband, or enjoying a concert or musical with my son. These activities are a great way for us to unwind and enjoy quality family time together.

Seth DeWitt

Director – Accounting

I joined the Lighthouse Title team in January 2022, following an internship the summer prior. I studied accounting at Hope College and my role at Lighthouse Title Group is my first position after graduation. I’m looking forward to making many memories during my future with the company.
My favorite pastime is attending concerts and I’m a musician myself, having played instruments since I learned how to read. My time at home is dominated by the constant attention a rescue Husky requires. I am constantly grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me, and my involvement with Lighthouse Title is one of the many aspects of my life where I find myself blessed.

Kim Donat

Director - Wisconsin Production

I have over a decade of experience as a Title Examiner with County Land & Title and Portage County Title. I also have experience as a licensed real estate agent and licensure as a title intermediary in Wisconsin. I am also a WLTA Title Examiner Courses graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and a Technical Degree in Microcomputer Software Applications from Northcentral Technical College.

Terry DeBroux

Accounting Manager

I joined County Land & Title in October 1999 as a temporary employee. Impressed by the company culture, I transitioned to a permanent role, starting as a production specialist and advancing to the office manager position. Currently I am the bookkeeper for Quality Title Group! I am a licensed title insurance agent and a graduate of the Wisconsin Land Title Association certificate courses.

Sara Holtz

Vice President – Central & Western Wisconsin Division

I am the Vice President of our Central & West Wisconsin Division of offices! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and have spent ten years in the title industry, starting as a searcher and progressing to a closer before taking on my current position. Before my tenure in the title industry, I had 18 years of experience in banking.

Jane Rott

Sr. Title Advisor


My first job after high school was with Chicago Title Insurance Company in 1978 in Milwaukee, WI, one of the first mentors in my career recommended me for an entry level position.

I have stayed in the title field moving to Green Bay originally in 1985 and after a few life changes I settled back in the Green Bay area in 2006. Green Bay Title, which had been in business in the Green Bay area for over 80 years, was purchased by Lighthouse Title in 2016. My time with Lighthouse Title has been filled with amazing and supporting co-workers and mentors and have opened many areas of opportunities for me.
My husband and I enjoy spending time with our blended family and amazing grandchildren, and we also love to travel with trips to New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans, South Carolina, Jamaica and Ireland, to name a few.

I look forward to working with the Wisconsin offices to help Lighthouse Title to continue to grow and attain an even higher level of success.
